Wednesday at Math Camp

July 22
Hello! The classes for day three at math camp are coming to a close but a lot was learned today. The famous female scientist of the was Maria Agnesi (1718-1799). Agnesi was treated as a childhood prodigy- she had tutors to teach her five languages.  After her mother died, Agensi had to teach her 21 younger siblings. (Yes. That was not a typing error.  She had 21 younger siblings) So to help her teach she wrote two math books.
Then we did some logic games and puzzles at sporcle.com.
      Then we learned about pentominoes.
Looking forward to the rest of camp. :)
